Dear Admission Officers, As the tutor of Mi, I became acquainted with him got to know about him in April, 2012. We had frequent contacts, so I had a first-hand opportunity to observe how Mi's mind works. As far as I know, he is fully qualified to further his study in your prestigious university, and your good education will help tremendously to branch his potential. So I recommend him for acceptance into your university. He was an undergraduate of Northeastern University in China, majored in Electronic Information Engineering. After graduated, he challenged to study management in Southwestern Jiaotong University for a master’s degree, in which field he expected to make greater achievement. He is a quick learner, with a precise serious attitude. He had no difficulty learning professional management courses, which were brand totally new for him. Among the four professional courses in last semester, he ranked top 20 percent in the Operational Research course and the Production and Operations Management course. At present I am leading a research project on trust and cooperation. Under my direction he learned the knowledge and research methods related, including the Experimental Research method and the Case Study Research method. Mi is self-motivated and diligent, eager to improve himself in an all-around way. He serves as the Recreation & Sports Secretary in his class, and a member of the postgraduate union. Mi is keen on campus activities, such as basketball matches, the New Year's party, and ballroom dancing. I wonder whether he could balance the academic research and recreational activities. He may have problems prioritizing. We had communications on choosing the major International Human Resource Management. I support his considerations, that human resource is relevant to my research directions and what he is studying, which will help him establish a better knowledge system and promote competitiveness. He will be permitted to finish school when back from the UK, if he has the honor to study abroad in your university.
