上周末我和父母去北京参观了天安门我感到很开心,用英语作文 Last week's national day,my father and mother took me to Beijing to play. As soon as I arrived in Beijing, I couldn't wait to take my father and mother by the hand to Tiananmen Square. As soon as I arrived at Tiananmen Square, I was attracted by the magnificent Tiananmen tower. The Tiananmen Gate Tower stands on the north side of the square, with red walls and yellow tiles. In the middle of the tower hangs a portrait of our great leader Chairman Mao, with "long live the people's Republic of China" on the left and "long live the great unity of the people of the world" on the right. Looking up again, a glittering and solemn national emblem with gold on a red background hung above the portrait in the middle. We walked slowly to the city tower. My father told me that the small river in front of Tian'anmen Square was called Jinshui River, and the bridge over Jinshui River was called Jinshui bridge. There were stone lions squatting in front of the bridge, all powerful and brave. Standing in front of the Tiananmen Gate Tower, I looked up at the broad Tiananmen Square. I was very excited.
