The miller says to the oldest son: I give the mill to you. The miller says to the second son: I give the donkey to you. The miller says to the youngest son: I give the cat to you. The youngest son: (Sights) Oh no, only a cat! What can I do with it? I will die of hunger. (The youngest son throws the cat away, and the old miller was maddened to death.) The youngest son: (Shouts) Father, please look at me! Please don’t die!
