英语作文最珍贵的礼物 A Treasured Gift I remember when I was at grade four, I was about to get a treasured gift. It was my first pocket watch gifted by my dad. It was a stainless steel pocket watch with roman numerals. There was a pattern of two dancing dolphins on it as well. I was absolutely thrilled when I first saw it. My dad said that I needed to appreciate it because it would remind me of my childhood. He also said that it would become a reminder of our family's bond. I cherished it so much that all the time I thought of it, I kept it in my pocket and sometimes even took it to school. I believe it was the most treasured time of my life, when I was so delighted to have something so special and valuable as a gift. It was a symbol of purity, integrity and loyalty. It was like an angel blessing me every second. My dad passed away soon after that, so looking back now, I realize how much of an effort it was for him to get me something so special and valuable at that time. Now I look back at it, this treasured gift has taught me the importance of treasuring things I possess and the special bond between family and friends. I am grateful for having something so precious from my dad and I am sure it will be passed down through generations. It will always stay with me taking me back to my childhood memories. This beautiful gift symbolizes the relationship between me and my dad and I always keep it with me.
